Barletta guided tour
The city of the “Disfida” is characterised by an interesting old town and a big medieval castle that still preserves its basements.
From the roof you will see the sea and the ancient Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral that indicates the old town entry. We make a stop-over at the quaint and particular Cantina della Disfida, where we’ll talk about chivalrous duels and valorous men of other times. Not to be missed is the visit to the amazing Pinacoteca De Nittis that preserves and exhibits a collection of Giuseppe De Nittis’s paintings, the impressionist artist born in Barletta.
Lastly you will admire the Colossum of Barletta, a large bronze statue over 5 metres high.
