Proposal of 1 day tours for groups

One-day tour discovering the products, the places and the history of the long Apulian wine tradition, with an unmissable visit to the Castel del Monte.

The Nero di Troia is one of the most representative vines of Puglia and has been cultivated in these lands for centuries. The autochthonous Troia vine, with dark and sweet grapes, gives to the wine an intense taste and a good alcohol content. You will visit a Cantina producing Nero di Troia and will taste its wines.

Afterwards you will visit the Castel del Monte, the famous octagonal -shape Castle, UNESCO World Heritage Site, which gives its name to the Apulian DOC.
The Castel del Monte was built in 1240 by Frederick II of Swabia, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Guided by a local tour guide, you will first observe the exterior of the Castle, located on the top of a hill at 540 m above sea level and from where you can enjoy a magical view that goes from the Gargano to the Murgia National Park. Then you will vitit the Castle discovering its octagonal structure unique in the world, the atrium and the rooms. You will discover the history of the Emperor, a farsighted man who loved the Puglia.

Also you will visit another winery that cultivates another vine: Moscato.
The Muscat of Trani obtained the denomination of controlled origin in 1974. Although the Moscato is not a typical Apulian variety, it also represents an excellence of Puglia, as it assumes a strong territorial character: softness, enveloping, persistent and with a rich bouquet of aromas.
