Stroll through the Murgia Materana Park visiting rupestian churches and admiring the Sassi of Matera

The Murgia Materana park, in Basilicata, is one of the most interesting rock landscapes in Italy, testimony to the indissoluble and ancient relationship between man and nature. The park is characterized by Mediterranean vegetation and caves and ravines, which have been the home of man since prehistoric times.
